Asha Lee studied art in college. She made her literary debut in 1998 by winning the Dongseo Munhak New Writer Award with her short story, ¡°Hope in the Wall.¡± Her ¡°Birds of Rhiannon¡± was chosen as one of the Good Stories of the Year. Her short story collection Witch Fish was short-listed for the Hankuk Ilbo Newspaper Literary Award and selected for the Donga Ilbo Literary New Wave. She was also won the Arts Council Korea Creative Writing Fund. Her publications include Short Story Collections entitled Witch Fish and One Day, from the Cromagnon Person and a novel entitled King of Tears. She is currently serializing ¡°Artpictio¡± in the monthly literary magazine Munhak+Neomeo.
